The smoke has cleared and the carnage is obvious. What happened? How the Fuck?
It’s simple, as I have been saying for a while now- The Conservative base is the most astute block of voters in America, you can not blow smoke up their asses and get away with it, besides, we can be a vindictive bunch. You’ve heard the expression, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”, well,” a woman scorned hath no fury like a Conservative forced to pick between the lesser of two evils.” You govern like a Democrat, we will let the Democrats govern.
George Bush the elder learned this the hard way, remember his “no new taxes” bullshit. Bullshit that the base saw through and made him pay for. “W” and the new Minority party are standing in front of the black board as we speak, writing over and over again, “I will not Forget to govern as a Conservative”, finally realizing that galloping across the country screaming” the Liberals are coming, the Liberals are coming”, is not enough. We Conservatives that refused to back the Republicans may actually feel a little guilt at some point, but we will get over it, remember we have been here before.
Over the next few weeks you will hear the talking heads analyze the downfall of the Republicans. You will hear a call for non-partisan cooperation between the Whitehouse and the new Democratic majority, this will be from the Media, Nancy and the Crew long ago drew up their plans, and will run them straight up George Bush’s ass if they can. See, the Democrats understand the usage of power, they know what a majority means- having held such status and power for so long in the past, and unless W finds that Veto pen he lost for the last six years, their will, will be done. Yeah, it’s going to get very interesting over the next few months.
Soon you will quickly come to realize that Charlie Rangel is a stone cold idiot and will not be able to stomach his many appearances for more than two minute tops. As the many committees and chairmanships are assumed control of by Democrats, you will start to develope a thicker skin than you are accustomed too- it's a natural defense mechanism. The Democrats, finally back in power will once again put forth a liberal agenda, and once again America, which is basically conservative, will take away their majority. All these things and more will play out over the next two years-2008 is going to be one hell of a year.
In the meantime, all is not gloom and doom for my fellow conservatives out there across the country. Hey, at least we still have our health.
